THE ADVOCATE
Strength: Great at spotting social injustice
Weakness: Overactive personal injustice radar
Relationship Area: Conflict

βš–οΈThe Advocate

When you experienced repeated unfairness as a child, your mind developed an active injustice radar that constantly evaluates whether situations are unfair. This wasn't self-pityβ€”it was a survival strategyβ€”to appeal for fairness. You learned to quickly assess imbalances in power dynamics, spot when someone stronger was taking advantage, and advocate for basic fairness when no one else would. Your ability to notice when things are genuinely unfair and speak up about it is a tremendous strength πŸ’ͺ that offers you protection from harm.

But now this same radar can sometimes make it hard to distinguish between actual injustice and the normal friction that comes with any relationship πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. When someone disagrees with you, sets a boundary or prioritizes their needs, a trigger immediately goes off: "They are being unfair to you!"
