This wasn't self-pity—it was a `survival strategy`—to appeal for fairness. You learned to quickly assess imbalances in power dynamics, spot when someone stronger was taking advantage, and advocate for basic fairness when no one else would. Your ability to notice when things are genuinely unfair and speak up about it is a tremendous strength 💪 that offers you protection from harm.<br><br>But now this same radar can sometimes make it hard to distinguish between actual injustice and the normal friction that comes with any relationship 🤷‍♀️. When someone disagrees with you, sets a boundary or prioritizes their needs, a trigger immediately goes off: "They are being unfair to you!"
